Wedding & Elopement
Before starting to realize wedding and elopement photo shootings, I thought it was enough to learn two things: to know the various moments of the ceremony and learn to photograph every nuance of it with the camera. Of course, I was wrong. It’s not enough to know by heart the lesson, you’ve to be able to adapt and react to the many variables of every wedding, exploiting all the possibilities it offers to make special the outcome.
Each ceremony is unique and unrepeatable, it should be followed with particular attention to be able to bring it within the images. Every couple has their own story to tell and live unique emotions that manifests itself through different gestures and expressions: for this reason it’s not enough to bring home some great pictures, I’ve to meet, and especially overcome, your expectations.
Over the years I’ve gained experience photographing weddings from the most variegated characteristics, adapting myself with participation at each event. In any case, my eyes are always watchful and focused.
Each service will be customized according to your needs. If i can, I carry out an inspection in advance where the various moments of the wedding will be held. This helps me for a better organization of the photo session, and allows a more effective coordination with the other people who will carry out the ceremony.
In practice, I like to follow dynamically the course of events. Always looking for the right place at the right time to take the right picture. I really care to be discreet and unobtrusive, even when I you follow closely. I love to use natural light; the flash comes into play creatively only when strictly necessary. I prefer to let go spontaneously the history that is written in your day, telling it with a natural style, on one hand highlighting the crucial moments and on the other without forgetting the little details that make the story more complete and special. It's fashionable to talk about the reportage style, and in fact is the one that describes my approach. But personally I don't like categorizing the way to photograph of a person, I find it reductive. It makes more sense to talk about their photographic sensibility and how it's transmitted within the pictures.
Clearly I want to underline that we'll decide together my approach. The photographic tale of your wedding doesn't exclude the possibility to find one or more moments during the wedding day in which we'll dedicate ourselves to stuff the photographic tale with studied scenographies. Scenographies and situations that may also arise spontaneously, without predetermination.
In this sense, the reportage is enriched with creative portraits. If you don't have clear ideas on this aspects, the best thing is talk about it together.
We’ll also decide together also all the further details of your wedding, eg.:
● the choice to follow all the steps of the wedding - preparations, ceremony, photos on location, party - or just part of the wedding.
● the possibility of employing trusted video operators, able to make a professional movie of your wedding.
● the possibility to choose between different types of of Photographic and Fine Art papers to be included within Albums, Photobooks and Passepartout. Personally I use high quality made in italy handmade products. Or, alternatively, just require the files that you’ll print by yourself.
I’m available as wedding photographer all over Italy or abroad, anywhere you want, for a destination wedding. If the wedding service is required together with an Engagement Session, I'll make you a good offer. For any other info, I'm here, just ask!
